2022-23 Fury Coaches

The Fury Board ensures all members of the coaching team meet minimal requirements set forth by Volleyball Nova Scotia and Volleyball Canada. 

Additionally, coaches are active in participating in other training programs to expand their knowledge of the sport and deepen their best-practices in coaching.  

The Fury club is also fortunate to have coaches involved in the AUS, Provincial, and high school Division I level of volleyball programs.  This varied background provides different perspectives in practice and competitive environments.  

The coaches regularly collaborate with each other to share ideas to support the athletes!

Governing Bodies Requirements:

  • Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Enhanced Police Information Check/Criminal Record Check
  • Adhere to Volleyball Canada's Code of Conduct and Abuse Policy
  • Adhere to Responsible Coaching Movement 'Rule of Two'
  • Comply with head coach, age-specific certification requirements.

  • VIP Coaching Program via Canadian Sport Centre Atlantic
  • Athletes taking "Making Headway" and "Emergency Action Plan
  • Keeping Girls in Sport (JumpStart Program)
